Allyson ta drenta na di 5 luga y ta logra clasifica pa e final B ya cu e prome cuater temponan ta bay final A. Den e final B, Allyson no ta logra mehora su tempo di mainta y ta landa un tempo di 32.86. Asina mes Allyson ta logra e prome luga den e final B. Aki den un tremendo competencia y hopi cera Jordy ta drenta como e di 5 luga cu un tempo di 53.31. E split time di Jordy tabata 25.64. Cu e tempo aki Jordy a logra e final B di 100m cual lo tuma luga den oranan di anochi. Den e final B, Jordy ta logra kibra su record personal ora e ta landa un tempo nobo di 52.80, su marca anterior tabata 52.93.Cu esaki e ta termina na di tres luga den e final B. 
Mescos cu Allyson e atleta Jordy Groters tambe ta un prospecto grandi den landamento unda actualmente e ta bibando na Merca y ta bishitando University of Missouri. E atleta Groters ta forma parti di e ekipo di landamento di dicho scol, Missouri Tigers.

In Florida the High school season is in its final weeks with the grand finale being the State Championships. Aruba has 2 swimmers competing for their schools. Andrea van den Berg swims for Cypress Bay in division 4A and Patrick Groters represents University School in Division 1A. At High school meets swimmers are only allowed to swim 2 individual events and 2 relays trying to qualify first for the District meet, then for the Regional meet and ultimately being in the Top 24 in the state to be able to compete at the State Championship. 
Andrea competed in the 50 and 100 Free. At the District meet Andrea won the gold medal in the 100 Free, and a bronze medal in the 50. With her Cypress Bay Teammates she won a gold and a silver in the 200 and 400 Free relays. The following week at the Regional Championships Andrea won a bronze medal in the 100 Free, finished 6th in the 50 and with her relays again won the gold in the 400 Free and a bronze in the 200 Free relay. Andrea was not able to qualify for States individually but with her relays Andrea finished in 11th place at States in the 200 Free relay and in 12th place in the 400 Free relay.
Patrick will be swimming his State Championships this coming Saturday. He will compete in the 50 and 500 Free as well as the 200 Medley Relay (backstroke) and 200 Free Relay. At Districts Patrick won the gold medal in the 500 and a silver medal in the 50 Free. Both his relays won a gold medal. His team finished as the runnerup of the meet. At Regionals Patrick continued on a winning streak swimming personal bests (4.37.31 and 21.88)  and winning  3 gold (500 & both relays) and a bronze in the 50.

Ally & Gaby Ponson at Open Dutch Championships

This past weekend Ally & Gaby Ponson competed at the Dutch Open Short Course Championships in Tilburg. Swimming Personal Best Times in the 50 (25.74)  & 100  (56.93) Free and 100 Individual Medley (1:06.23) , Ally sure seems to be in great shape to do her best at the CAC games next week in Veracruz, Mexico.Ally and her PSV teammates won a silver medal in the Free relay.

13th Aruba Dolphins Invitational is official qualifier for KAZAN and TORONTO 2015

The Aruba Dolphins Swimming and Waterpolo Club extends a cordial invitation to you to participate in the 13th Aruba Dolphins Age Group Invitational Swimming Championships to be held in Aruba from October 31st until November 2nd, 2014. We also have the pleasure to inform you that FINA has approved this competition as a meet where swimmers can achieve the FINA “A” and “B” Swimming Qualifying Standard Times for the 16th FINA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2015, KAZAN, RUSSIA. Qualifying for the TORONTO 2015 Pan American Games is also possible.
Time trials requests are also accepted.

Format: The age categories 8 & under and 9 - 10 will swim together as 10 & under, except in the 100M Fly, 100M Back and 100M Breast, but will be awarded separately.
The 11 - 12, 13 - 14 and 15 & older will swim together as 11 & older, but will
also be awarded separately. Relay teams are also entered according to the age group categories.
FINA rules will be applied.

Eligibility: Swimmers must be registered with their own swimming federation. A letter of good standing must be presented during the technical meeting.
Entries: No limit to the number of swimmers that each team can enter in one event.
A limit of 3 individual events per session per swimmer. No limit on number of
relays for teams. Mixed Relays must consist of 2 female and 2 male swimmers.
Swimmers competing only in relay events must also be registered in the entries.
Entry deadline: October 24th , 2014. No exceptions. Hy-tek zip is preferred.
Scoring: Only the 2 highest placed swimmers of each team will score points.
9-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 for individual events, relays score double.
All events are timed finals.
Officials: The Aruban Swimming Federation will appoint FINA referees, judges and
timekeepers for the meet. Participating teams are invited to submit names of timekeepers willing to serve as officials during the meet.
Awards: Medals for 1st to 3rd place, ribbons from 4th to 8th place.
Team Trophy for 1st to 3rd place teams.
High Point Trophy for 1st to 3rd place in each category.
Entry fee: US$ 25.00 per swimmer.
Opening: Opening ceremonies will be on Friday October 31, 2014 at 7.00 pm at the pool.
Teams and officials are required to wear their uniforms.
Closing: Closing ceremonies and awards presentation will be on Sunday, November 2,
2014, one hour after the meet at the pool. (approx. 2.00 pm.)
